The Song Tailors featuring Lyndon Watts on Blindingly Beautiful
“Blindingly Beautiful” is quite different from most of my previous songs. The song is a ballad with a beat, with a soft start and a big build, with guitar & piano riff underlying throughout. I wrote the piano riff first and you’ll hear it at the start. It continues throughout the song as it builds. As always I worked with my producer, James Kempster, of Rockcandy Productions on this song.
Troy Downward is the guitarist on the track. As I’m always looking for singers I sent out a call for singers on The Song Tailors instagram page. Lyndon Watts was one of the vocalists who responded. He sent through some examples of his work and I was delighted to offer him the opportunity to sing this song.
Lyndon has an impressive bio. He is an accomplished actor, singer and dancer. He has toured Australia and internationally in shows including “Sweet Charity”, “Anything Goes, “Singing’ in the Rain”, “Aladdin”, “A Chorus Line” and “West Side Story”. He was a finalist in the 2018 Rob Guest Endowment in Australia and is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). It was a pleasure to work with him.
I think his voice is exceptional and I hope we’ll work together more in the future.
